Meranda Herbert

Meranda Herbert was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Southside High School in 2013. She then attended Ball State University for her undergraduate and graduate degree in Communication Studies. During her time at the university, she was actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware County. She joined the construction sector six years ago where she worked for a local general contractor as a Project Manager/Estimator. During that time, she served as an Advisory Board Member with TeenWorks and was the Chair of the CASA Board of Directors.

She made her way into the ready-mix industry where she developed deep understanding of full site development and concrete plant maintenance. During that time, she served in the Developing Leaders Program through the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. More recently she served as a Board Member of Valparaiso University where she completed their Women in Leadership Certificate Program. Meranda joined the Mattingly team in 2024 in the role of a Project Manager/Estimator. She is a current member of the NAWIC Association and the Howard County Builder’s Association.  She believes the best part about her role is developing meaningful relationships with both her internal and external teams.

Besides work she enjoys being outdoors and often is out hiking and biking. She enjoys cooking and hosting her family and friends. She has two dogs named Gunner and Brian who keep her busy. She enjoys a vast variety of music and loves to travel.
